From June 16th-18th, DART-students followed professor Robert F. Göx's invitation to Zürich University in order to visit a seminar titled "Accounting Measurement and Real Effects" by professor Haresh Sapra from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. On the first and second day, professor Sapra provided interesting insights on his view of the importance of real effects arising from accounting procedures vs. the concept of pure exchange economies. On the third day, the focus was on global games and higher order believes which can be relevant in a number of different settings and hence covered most of the research interest of the present students. Due to the flawless organization and the casual atmosphere, the course provided the perfect learning environment and let the students return to their faculties happy and enlightened.
