On October 1, 2014, DART started in its second period funded by the Austrian Science Fund. Three new DART-students have been admitted to the doctoral program: Aikaterini Ferentinou (Athens University of Economics and Business) and Nikolina Krneta (University of Novi Sad) began their doctoral studies at the University of Graz and are joined by the new associate member Anna Ressi, Research Assistant at the Department of Organization and Economics of Institutions (University of Graz).
Since July 2014 DART has its first two graduates. Stefan Schantl successfully defended his thesis, titled “The Determinants of the Firm Coverage and Earnings Forecasting Behavior of Sell Side Equity Analysts” and started his new position as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the accounting area at Purdue University's Krannert School of Management. Björn Brand, who presented his thesis “The Influence of a Firm's Social Strategy on its Corporate Governance: A Game-Theoretic Approach”, continues his professional career in the Department of Financial Services Transfer Pricing at the KPMG AG, one of the leading auditing and advisory firms in Germany.
