- an Excellent record in previous academic studies;
- maximum ambition to do accounting research;
- strong curiosity and interest in accounting issues;
- high interest and knowledge in accounting, microeconomics and finance;
- excellent knowledge of English, both in writing and reading.
Given equal capabilities, female doctoral students are given preference for offered positions.
The same criteria apply for associated doctoral students who do not receive financial support from DART.
The application period for the academic year 2019/2020 will be opened on October 10, 2018. Applications will be evaluated in two rounds. The first evaluation will take place after January 15, 2019, and will consider all complete applications which have been submitted by that date. A first round of offers will be made based on that pool of applicants. If not all available positions can be filled on the basis of that first round, applications received after January 15 will also be evaluated. The second and final phase for 2019/2020 runs until March 31, 2019.
